Optifine is Required for this Resource Pack.
Villager Career Variants is a 1.12 Resource Pack which aims to back port 1.14's Villager Career skins, while altering them to better fit in the classic style.
This was also made before 1.14, which is why there maybe minor differences, as these were all designed around the preview images.
Q: A Villager spawned with commands / natural generation has the wrong skin!
A: This is a minor issue with Optifine, simply exit and re-enter the world to fix this.
Q: Can you port this to [X version]?
A: When I consider this to be as finished as it can be, I'll likely port to to every version that has Optifine's CEM. No Guarantees.
Q: Can you port this to >=1.14?
A: That wouldn't make sense.
Q: Can support be added for modded Villagers?
A: Possibly, but that would depend on if the villagers even need changes.
Q: Can I use this as a base / example for making my own Resource Packs?
A: Please do! More resource packs using Optfine's features are great! Just make use to only use it as a base, and replace everything with your own content!
