Please note: Optifine is required for this resource pack to function, as I take advantage of an Optifine feature to be able to change the models of mobs.
This pack aims at turning Minecraft into a prehistoric survival experience by replacing all non-bipedal mobs with dinosaurs and dinosaur-like creatures that mimic their behavior. For example, herbivorous mobs are replaced with herbivorous dinosaurs, etc. All dinosaurs also come with new sounds that add a ton to the immersive feel of this pack (Sounds by the amazing PigeonProject). All related item names and textures are also appropriately modified to match their new animal. New updates will bring fully implemented mobs and items, as well as possibly new plants or other features. The upcoming species list is already planned, but if you have any suggestions please let me know and I will consider it for the next update.
Completed Mobs:
Llama=Dilophosaurus, Horse=Parasaurolophus, Cow=Magyarosaurus, Donkey=Lambiosaurus, Mule=Corythosaurus, Polar Bear=Therizinosaurus, Mooshroom=Amargosaurus, Sheep=Dryosaurus, Pig=Chunkingosaurus, Rabbit=Psittacosaurus, Chicken=Avimimus, Ravager=Nasutoceratops
Spiders, Cave Spiders, Silverfish, and Ender Mites have new models and textures(Same as Enhanced Mobs).
If for any reason you want to remove certain mobs from your copy of the resource pack, all you need to do is delete the textures and models for those specific mobs in the resource pack. This can be done by searching "%appdata%" on your computer, then going to '.minecraft/resourcepacks/Project Extinction/assets/minecraft/'. From there, the textures can be found in 'textures/entity' and 'optifine/mob' folders, and the models can be found in the 'optifine/cem' folder. As for the models, all you have to do is delete the .jem files. Leave the .jpm files alone, because sometimes they are related to other mobs and you might break something.
Other Info: Textures and models were created by Dolan, Pheonix, and myself. Sounds were created by PigeonProject with some editing by myself to work within the resource pack.
