This pack uses optifine's custom item textures to add a card game to the Betweenlands

WARNING: Due to the way replacing items models works it turns out replacing modded textures does not work, You will need to rename vanilla paper instead of amate paper. The card binder also does not work sadly.

Simply rename some paper in a anvil to any mob in the game and you will get a card with a picture, stats, and a aspect

The game has custom rules for battles, its not just trading cards or for decoration. Inside of the texture file is a rules document with how to play. In the future this pack may become a addon mod for the Betweenlands with custom items and blocks, but no guarantees.

A brief summary of how to play is: Create a deck by picking any cards, each card cost points based on its health and attack, you get 64 points to spread out between the cards. You and your opponent play three cards at a time, you can attack and use cards to defend other cards. Each card also has a aspect that gives it a unique ability. When you run out of cards to play you lose.

If you are playing on the official Into The Betweenlands server you can create cards by shift-right clicking with a amate name tag to name it a card or token, no anvil or paper required.

This game is in very early development, If you have any feedback about card balancing, rules, or anything else please leave a message.
