| Server Description | [1.6.2] Minecraft Town is a small, yet well established creative server. Founded in late 2011, we have undergone massive change over the years, but one thing that has become constant is the care for the community we have created. Although we have recently had a drop in population, we have just had a surge in the return of old members, and we hope to build on this by re-listing ourselves on various server lists. Now that that's out the way.... We are a family and community orientated server. We currently operate on a grey-list only basis (meaning that we allow you to login, and build in the guest world, chat to other users, etc. - But to be able to get to some worlds and build with others you must fill out an application form on our website.) Although that doesn't appeal to many people, it's our tried and tested method of keeping an active and fun community. (: We try to keep plugins to a minimum, without sacrificing fun and/or eating server resources. So we currently have two custom written plugins. Plus all the usual WorldGuard, WorldEdit and Essentials packages. As you may have noticed, we pride ourselves on our community of players. Our group of moderators are very active and if you ever need/want more room to talk, we also have a teamspeak server setup which usually has at least one person on it at peak times. :P We hope to see you around soon.
