YD Zombies: Anomaly Takedown

   YD Zombies was inspired by the Hypixel minigame Blocking Dead (check it out at mc.hypixel.net!) but takes an entirely different approach to the loot-and-shoot style minigame by utilizing mods, new game mechanics, and a purpose-built custom map. Once the game begins, you have eight minutes to loot chests and find food, ammunition, armor, and health potions, and survive the waves of zombies that appear. The "anomaly" is a strong custom boss that is announced five minutes into the game... one that you have to kill in order to survive! Loot chests and boss spawns are randomized each round for a continuously unique experience.

   This minigame utilizes features developed by the Vic4GamesTeam in their awesome Modern Warefare: Contagion mod. This includes props found throughout the map, guns and ammunition, custom zombies, and player movement mechanics. Make sure you check your controls before playing and set the reload, prone, and fire mode buttons to your preference. Custom achievements (found upstairs in the lobby) are inspired by the Blocking Dead Community Discord.

YD Zombies 2: Infiltration

   This sequel map is adventure style and inspired by the SCP Foundation writings. Discover the source of the zombie outbreak and obtain information for research! SCP: Lockdown provides new blocks, monsters, items, and functionality that completely change the gameplay experience. Custom quests, dialogue, and characters are implemented through the Custom NPCs mod by Noppes_. Depending on how much you read into the lore of this map, completion can take up to three hours.
