My second modpack meant for more casual play without all the details. This is something I just threw together after watching an episode of Erose's Animal Land series and wanting to make a zoo of my own. However, I also like having something to explore and do in my worlds as it keeps things interesting, as well as more long term. I'm uploading this mostly because I dislike having multiple folders for my saves and I would prefer to have them all in one place to just press play. But should I update my save, whether by adding or removing mods or editing configurations, this modpack will occasionally have an update to go along with it. This also means I may not be on top of configurations and / or bug fixes. If you find something, or have a recommendation, you're free to mention it and I will see what I can do.
THE MOBS
These are, of course, the focus of this modpack. Who doesn't want a variety of mobs to interact with in their world? ZAWA and Fossils and Archaeology are the most notable mods, but there's also Mystic World, Doggy Talents, Butterflies, and Aquaculture to add to a little bit of everything.
THE ENVIRONMENT.
I like to add some aesthetic to my Minecraft, it makes it more pleasing to the eyes for me. Some mods can make it incredibly immersive too, while adding gameplay to add that anticipation of naturally occurring events. For this, we have Serene Seasons, Lumen, Weathers Storms and Tornados, Better Foliage (to configure this, press F8), and YUNG's Better Caves.
THE OTHER STUFF.
Exploration, food, some magic, a village full of NPCs to interact with... Just some things to make the world a little more fun to explore. Craftomancy, Arcane World, Bewitchment and Roots are there for those of you who want a little magic. Quark, Pinkly Sheep and Charm each add a variety of things to throw you off and make you curious while exploring. Minecraft Comes Alive makes villages more interactive, Rougelike Dungeons will fulfill your spelunking needs. Bailey's Dailys, Extra Alchemy, Pam's Harvest, Totemic, Wings... As you can see, there's a mix of everything. ( Except technology. If you're looking for technology, I can tell you that you won't find it here. Sorry! )
RECOMMENDATIONS.
In my save, I have some resource packs installed to fit my aesthetic. Revived Space, formerly known as Epic Horizon, by Aetheris_ex changes the way the sky looks to be more immersive. With the add-ons, which you can find in the ZIP download they provide so make sure to unZIP the initial download file to find them!, it can be extremely satisfying to see fields and mountains on the horizons, beckoning you to explore. Sometimes you might catch the warm lights of a village in the distance...
However, you will need to install Optifine manually (this is a 1.12.2 modpack). Some shaderpacks might also not be compatible if they have custom skies so be sure to turn that off if you have the option.
