People say, there was a mineshaft below the Halmpertown Village. Since the village mentioned was attacked by brain-hungry infected, the cave was eventually sealed off until help arrived.

 

Well, that was supposed to happen if the miners didn't forget to seal off the other entrances. Now it'sa life or death situation on whether they survive or not.
